API and Integrations Software Engineer Tech Lead (Off-Site)

Description

We are looking for a talented API and Integrations Software Engineer Tech (Off-Site) to join the Cummins Enterprise Integration Services team , based out of Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.

  • Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications and supporting and/or installing software applications.

  • Be a key participant in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle; document and demonstrate solutions; and, develops flow charts, layouts and documentation

  • Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.

  • Responsible for participating in requirements analysis and decomposition, internal testing and the documentation of same for the application-application ntegrations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience equivalent.

  • Minimum seven years of relevant industry experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementation of API/Integration solutions using existing patterns, architecture guidelines and framework related to logging, authentication, security, error recovery etc.

  • Strong experience in Oracle fusion middleware (Oracle SOA, OSB), ODI and OIC; 4 years of experience in Mulesoft platform (4.X and above) working with Cloud and ERP applications also required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
