This is an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Indiana for IT Leader Supply Chain Business Intelligence and Analytics. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

The IT Leader - Supply Chain Business Intelligence & Analytics will work with various Supply Chain functional stakeholders both at leadership and subject matter expert level to build a holistic BI & Analytics strategy that delivers cross functional solutions to meet both Supply chain function and end user needs.

This role will:

  • Be responsible for leading multiple projects and will require a good understanding of Supply Chain data and self-service BI delivery models.

  • Operate in a fast-paced and changing business and technical environment and requires the ability to adapt and lead the team through periods of changing priorities and technologies.

  • Identify latest BI trends, applicability of trends in the Supply Chain space, and develop implementation plans for innovative technologies resulting from these trends where relevant.

  • Manages a group of intermediate level IT employees.

  • Participate as a key member of an IT Management Team.

  • Responsible for financial management including AOP, budget management, and forecasting.

  • Responsible for People Management including work plan development, performance management, and people development.

  • Responsible for team building and development including organization structure, recruiting, global team management.

  • Compile and present Management Reports on team performance including metrics, deliverable status, etc.

  • Communicate status to senior management.

  • Accountable for Six Sigma training, usage and goal attainment for the team.

  • Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures including IT Security.

  • Responsible of IT Controls compliance for the team.

  • Engagement with customers in their respective function or business area.

  • Governance/Leadership for all program/projects executed or supported by their teams.

Experience

  • Minimum eight to ten years in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in managing global IT teams.

  • Strong expertise with BI technology stack and landscape, including Cloud.

  • Understanding of the Supply Chain processes, goals, and organization a plus.

  • Previous experience in managing large IT projects in a global manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
