Manufacturing Site Leader, IT Applications
We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Site Leader to join our team supporting the Cummins Engine Plant located in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Accountable for the daily oversight of client, server, and network components of CBS IT Infrastructure support at the Cummins Columbus Engine Plant and all tenants of that facility including HDM, EPBU, MEDC, global metrology, Emissions labs, LDD Tech Center, Additive, and any other manufacturing groups that may move into this building.
Provides site LAN support client support, MFG data closet work, and MFG server administration.
Accountable for troubleshooting and monitoring network performance, patching, coordination and upgrades to network equipment, planning and implementing ACL's and VLAN's, and CEP manufacturing IT asset modernization.
Incumbent will partner with Business Unit’s IT and plant operations for identifying improvements, infrastructure planning, and problem resolution
Work closely with all CBS IT services to ensure work aligns with standard practices.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. 3-5 years of experience.
Experience in an industrial environment and be agile regarding approaches to fixes and troubleshooting problems.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing plant around industrial equipment is preferred.
College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business
or a related subject required

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
