Description
We are looking for a talented Sr. Software Engineer - Microservice & API Management Developer to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate Business Segment in Columbus, Indiana.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Implementations of micro-service integration, packaging, build automation and deployment
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle; Document and demonstrate solutions; Develops flow charts, layouts, and documentation
Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions; Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and issues while protecting IT assets by keeping information confidential; Improve applications by conducting systems analysis recommending changes in policies and procedures
Provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility; Adopt new mindsets and habits in how people approach their work while supporting decentralized decision making.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or related subject, or relevant experience equivalent. Masters in relevant area or Bachelor’s plus a certification is HIGHLY preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Microservice & API Management and development
Proven technical skills in API and Microservices development
Experience as a Java Developer with proven hands-on Software Development experience.
Experience with JSE/JEE, Java based Micro-services framework and API Management, REST APIs, SQL, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, GWT, etc.
Experience in API and Integration for delivering large and complex API solutions with MuleSoft
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
