This is an exciting opportunity for Project Manager - Senior - Supply Chain Planning - #TN092 in Memphis, Tennessee
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Lead the design of complex supply chain project plans, develop timelines, identify project milestones, and track performance against performance goals and timelines.
Responsible for standardizing, maintaining and improving the inventory optimization process for all Cummins Central Supply Chain Operations aftermarket parts distribution sites.
Direct and manage the optimization of Xelus system planning logic and planning parameters to improve aftermarket parts delivery and supply chain efficiency, and minimize supply chain working capital investment.
Manage multiple cross-functional supply chain improvement projects in the areas of global supply chain multi-echelon network inventory optimization, global supply chain network design, and global supply chain planning logic optimization.
Utilize specialized knowledge in Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization technique and Linear/Non-linear programming network optimization technique to optimize delivery and inventory level, and minimize total supply chain cost for aftermarket parts supply chain network.
Lead multiple complex project FMEAs and 9-box project risk summary utilize the Six Sigma approach during Project Risk Management in order to identify and manage the actions to mitigate the risks during supply chain projects.
Utilize Monte Carlo simulation to simulate supply chain delivery and inventory performance to quantify project risks and design project risk mitigation plans.
Utilize extensive specialized knowledge and experience with Value Package Profile (VPP) and other scope-defining documents in order to proactively manage change.
Collaborate with other department to integrate logistics with business system or processes, such as order management, accounting, or shipping.
Direct or coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, and delivery.
Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness objectives.
Utilize Matlab, Supply Chain Guru, and Oracle SQL to perform complex analysis of all aspects of corporate logistics and supply chains to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Positions require a Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering Management, Logistics or related field and 2 years of experience as a Supply Chain, Logistics or Project Manager or Specialist, or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering Management, Logistics, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Manager or Specialist, or related position.

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
