Description

We are looking for a talented (REMOTE) Sr Data Scientist to join our remote team.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Apply statistical, mathematical optimization, system simulation and machine learning models to improve global supply chain performance;

  • Develop and deploy integrated analytics solutions to support integrated supply chain planning;

  • Build strong relationship with supply chain planning and logistics team to understand the business needs and deliver customer-centric solutions;

  • Collaborate with other functional teams to build and develop processes to support supply chain analytics and business needs;

  • Develop supply chain model and analytics for scenario analysis;

  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking analysis.

  • Execute analytics models and solutions to improve and enhance supply chain performance in the areas of supply planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization.

  • Deploy and test new analytics solutions and capabilities to be rolled out for the business, such as Kits Inventory Healthy Model, Kits supersession process, Supplier, customer impact analytics etc.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

-College, university or equivalent bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Familiarity analyzing complex business systems, industry requirements, and/or data regulations

  • Background in processing and managing large data sets

  • Applied knowledge of big data, open source and third-party toolsets

  • SQL query language

  • Clustered compute cloud-based implementation experience

  • Experience in building analytical solutions

  • Advanced Python coding skills

  • Time Series and Machine Learning

Intermediate experiences in the following are preferred:

  • Implementing Big Data platform solutions using open source and third-party tools

  • Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web services environment

  • Experience in Agile software development

  • Familiarity with validation and testing of machine learning systems

  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
